Education & Training
The region is also home to 68 colleges and universities, over half of which have programs to prepare the healthcare and/or IT workforce. Training and education opportunities range from certificate to doctoral programs in fields that include nursing, information technology, analytics and even artificial intelligence. There are also local chapters of many professional societies, including HIMSS (Health Information Management Systems Society).
